Praxis is a dynamic, award-winning human rights charity supporting migrants in crisis or at-risk, ensuring that their essential human needs are met and that they are able to overcome the barriers they face.

We have 40 years of experience working with migrant communities and support more than 2,500 people every year. Our holistic approach supports people away from a point of crisis and destitution towards safety, economic independence, social engagement and greater emotional wellbeing.

At Praxis, we work to build community, challenge exclusion and discrimination, influence policy and improve services. We played a leading role in exposing the Windrush scandal and advocate and campaign for lasting changes to policy and practice to address the root causes of the issues faced by at-risk migrants

Immigration Advisor (IAA Level 2)

Location:  Hybrid: Home working, office in Bethnal Green & outreach in London locations

Job Type:  Full time - 35 hours per week

Duration: Fixed Term up to 31st March 2026 (possible extension)

Salary: NJC 24 - 25: £ 38,449 - £39,420 inclusive of London Weighting

We are currently looking for dedicated Immigration Advisers (IAA Level 2) to join our growing team to provide immigration advice and casework to destitute migrants. We will be recruiting on a rolling basis for a number of upcoming roles, one of which is a woman only role, so we welcome applications from women. Support worker

Location: Hybrid: Home working, office in Bethnal Green

Job Type: Part-time time - 14 hours per week

Duration: Fixed Term up to 31st March 2026         

Salary: £33,278 pro-rata, inclusive of London Weighting

We are seeking a dynamic Support Worker to provide holistic support to Praxis clients. You will be part of a holistic support service beyond traditional client assistance, focused on enabling people to navigate the immigration and asylum system independently, and empowering people with lived experience to champion their own cause. Your responsibilities will encompass delivering support in areas such as housing, benefits advice, access to education and employment with the assistance of volunteers.

Advice Coordinator and IAA supervisor L2 (IAA L3 desirable)

Location:  Hybrid (Praxis office in Bethnal Green, and outreach locations)  

Job Type: Full time - 35 hours

Salary: NJC 28, £42,123 (inclusive of London Weighting for London based post)

We seek an Advice Coordinator and IAA supervisor IAA L2 (IAA L3 desirable), or solicitor with equivalent qualifications for an exciting position leading partnership projects with Shelter, London Youth Gateway, and the East London Foundation Trust Mental Health Services.  The post holder will manage and supervise a team of IAA level 1 and 2 immigration advisors providing specialist immigration advice and casework to migrants at risk in London. You will play a key role in coordinating service delivery, including advice drop-ins and outreach visits in mental health settings.
