Join Praxis at the London Legal Walk 2022 on Tuesday 28th June
The 2021 walking team!
On Tuesday 28th June in collaboration with London Legal Support Trust, a team of walkers from Praxis will join the London Legal Walk, a 10km walk through Central London raising funds in support of free legal advice services.
Why walk?
With cuts to legal aid over the past decade, it’s more important than ever that we’re able to show support for people who need access to free legal advice. Funds raised by our walkers will support our collaborative work with law firms and immigration solicitors so we can provide our service users the expert help they need to access their rights and live in safety.
Where and when is it?
The Praxis walking team is meeting at our office at 3pm to travel together to the starting point of the walk at Carey Street in Holborn, arriving at 4pm. You can either join the team to travel to Carey Street or meet us there! The walk will travel through the city, and finish back on Carey Street with a street party with street food vendors, fire jugglers and musicians.
How can I join?
To register, simply get in touch at communications@praxis.org.uk with your name, email address and connection to Praxis. Registration for all walkers for the event closes on Tuesday 21st June so please reply by then at the latest!
What's next?
Once you’ve signed up, we’ll send you details about how you can start fundraising. There’s no target for individuals – anything you can raise would make a world of difference!
