We, Brighter Futures, are a group of young people who have migrated to the UK and who come together, build a family in London and speak up for the rights of young people like us. On 20th June 2023, we launched our manifesto for a fairer housing future for young people who have migrated to the UK, with an evening of poetry, art and powerful conversations. 

In our GIANTS group, migrant men use creativity, art and discussion to connect and explore feelings and opinions. History, heritage and culture are an important part of Black History Month, and so we asked GIANTS members to share what thoughts they had on it.

Imagine a vase filled with different flowers

It is full of vibrant colours

Imagine a rose without thorns

And imagine that all flowers can be like a sunflower
